This week is the week I officially leave Leicester for good, after 3 years of so much fun I’m finally saying goodbye. It is such a big step (made worse by the fact all my friends will still be here) but it is time to start packing my things ready to leave my last ever student house. Although Leicester wasn’t my first choice university, I am so happy I ended up here, and I will miss it so much.
I’ve spent my last few weeks of freedom making the most of what Leicester has to offer. I’ve spent way too much time in Mosh (no regrets) been to my last ever Letsdisko as a student, of course I will be visiting next year. Last night I went to my first ever Souljam, which was such a new and refreshing way to finish my night outs in Leicester. Alongside this I have obviously been trying out Leicester’s very best hangover cures, Jones is a personal favourite, but I also love Boo Burger on London Road and Grimsby fish and chip shop on Welford road if I’m feeling especially greedy. On one occasion I even went to Boost trampoline park, which was incredibly fun and would definitely recommend. Point is, in even a short 2 week period I have experienced so much of Leicester and had so much fun, so in 3 years I have had countless amazing experiences here.
I am so grateful for the experiences I have had while here and I am so excited to come back to visit my friends and a cheeky Letsdisko reunion.
