I remember when I first came to Leicester, it was a completely different area from where I am in London. Leicester is definitely smaller than London but, I love how its more peaceful and relaxed unlike London. Personally every time I return back to Leicester after visiting my family in London, I feel more at peace and chilled out. Unlike Leicester, London is more busy, more tense and stressful.
Another thing I love about Leicester is its city centre where it’s colourful, cultural and vibrant. I’ve been in Leicester for two years and I am not bored of the centre. There are always new things to do or new places to eat. In second year, I visited the curve theatre to watch “woman in black” and you can read my opinions in my blog. There are also cinema’s located in High Cross and another one located near Freeman’s common.
I am a true foodie, so naturally I’m big fan of eating at different food places. The true beauty of Leicester is the different food places to visit. My favourites are the following: Casa Romana, Gelato Village, San Carl, St. Martin’s tea and coffee merchants and Viva El Burrito
My go to late night takeaway places are oodle noodles and Bombay bites as they deliver to the university but also, it comes in a cute takeaway box.
If you have any questions, let me know. Also tell me what are your favourite places are.
