Hello everyone! It feels like I have not posted anything in this space for ages! I was busy with assignments and also, ahem, just very lazy. Now with the submissions out of the way and a well rested week, I hope to update this blog more frequently.
I have decided to stay back this Christmas break instead of going home and work on my dissertation as well as revise for my exam in January. Hopefully, things will go as planned. I know a bunch of you have stayed back in Leicester for the holidays for reasons of your own. While this city can get pretty quiet around this time of the year, you can still enjoy it here and get in the festive spirit! You could enjoy a spectacular view of the beautiful city that Leicester is sitting through a ferris wheel ride right in the city centre. The Wheel of Light will be open to the public for rides till the 8th of January and costs only under £5! Don’t miss out on this fun opportunity! The city looks even more beautiful from up there now that it is bathed in Christmas lights. If you love live performances, there are numerous plays and musicals being held at the Curve theatre and De Montfort Hall. Head over their website for more information on shows and timings. Head over to the city centre for some amazing stalls serving some delicious food. And ofcourse, who could forget the shopping! There are discounts and deals everywhere so hurry up and buy those presents if you haven’t yet!
I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas break. What would you like me to write about next? Got any ideas? Leave them in the comment section below!
