So Long And Thanks For All The Fish….

It’s been a good old 18 months… but like all good things, it’s come to an end. I’ll always remember the good times I’ve had at uni, and talking about them on here afterwards! So thanks for your viewership over the last two years and I wish everyone the best of luck with their future […]

About 1/4 of all the stuff I binned!

Packing…

I went home for most of last week to prepare my family home for me moving back (generally just making room to bring all my stuff from University). Along with this, I took about half of my stuff back so the rest will fit nicely into one car load (unlike my brother’s final journey back […]

All Finished…

All Finished…

I had my last exam on Saturday…meaning I completed my last ever academic task. It was quite peculiar to think that three years of time and effort have all led to this, and after the exam was over, I felt a little lost that I didn’t have anything more to do for my course! I […]

Hindsight is a Beautiful Thing…

So it’s been two weeks since I handed in my dissertation. Although I was reasonably happy with my finished document, I’ve been thinking the over the whole process and I’ve been left with lots of nagging questions. What could I have done differently? How could I have made it better? Should I have spent more […]

Dissertation Submitted…

Hi everyone, Last week I finally handed in my dissertation. The culmination 10,350 words and months of work, converted into 50 pieces of paper bound by some plastic. With this, I hope to post more regular updates. But for now, I’m still buzzing to write anymore at the minute! Until next time 🙂

Lack of Updates…

Hi Everyone, Quick update from me. Sorry for the lack of activity recently, but it has come to that special time in my degree where I’m pulling ridiculously long days working on my dissertation to get it finished for May. I promise the regular updates will return after I’ve worked through the huge pile of […]

Coming to the End of an Era…

Coming to the End of an Era…

It’s almost quite sad, although I have still got another three months left at this fine institution…I can see the end of the tunnel! In 39 days I will have presented my last groupwork presentation, within 40 days I will have handed in my dissertation, 47 will see the last of my coursework and 55 […]

IBM Universities Business Challenge: An Unorthodox Perspective

Hi All, This Monday I went to the semi final of IBM’s Universities Business Challenge. To get there, my team and I had to boss our way through the first round (we managed to come 18th out of 312 teams total). Although I don’t want to tell you about the business challenge just yet! Firstly […]

I love Student Life!

I love Student Life!

Last night, I went along to the Christian Union’s acoustic night – which was an extremely enjoyable night full of music and frivolity. As the night was coming to a close (or so we thought!) at around 22:00, I made a joke that we should go out to the Students’ Union for a club night. […]

Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year

Leicester is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the UK, and even after two and a half years I’m still having new cultural experiences! Last week was the beginning Chinese New Year and I was invited to my friend’s (Carmen) house for a party.   We were told to wear auspicious (bright) colours, […]
