Take A Walk

Do you find that sometimes just walking and talking can clear your head? And what better time to destress than the exam season? Walk Leicester have organised a walk festival currently ongoing till the 31st May:

 

  • Step by Step to Moving More – Explore Spinney Hills Park with all the outdoor gym equiment and space. They will even be a fitness expert to give advice. Takes place on 8th May 10am – 11am

 

  • Wellbeing Walk – Your opportunity to relax, that is if you can relax during exams. Takes place 20th May 2pm – 3pm at Abbey Park

 

  • Walk to the Wicket – Walk to the Leicestershire Foxes match in the Royal London One Day Cup. Takes place 27th May 9:30am with various routes to Fischer County Ground.

 

  • Funky Feet and Wacky Wheels – Take a parade of the park as part of a family event where you have the opportunity to decorate your bikes and scooters. Takes place on 30th May 11am – 1pm at Abbey Park.

 

The events are free (well, not that you expect to pay to walk) but do require prebooking so take a look on choosehowyoumove.co.uk/walkleicester. Happy walking.
