It’s now officially 3 weeks until I finish my degree, and whilst I can’t wait to finish, this final stretch is proving to be rather difficult. I’m finding myself unmotivated, tired but stressed. Anyone else feeling the same? I’ve previously written about de-motivation so I should probably take my own advice and watch DJ Khaled’s snapchat. But […]
I’m notorious in my friendship group for being the ‘organised one’. My hard drive has an abundance of spreadsheets and pie charts, and my diary is always full of ‘To do” lists. Organisation and time-planning are skills that many employers look for, however I find that many people my age greatly lack these. I must admit, […]
Where on earth did April go? And, on that note; where did the Easter break go? I feel like I’ve turned away and looked back to find the holiday ran past me.

As many Leicester students will know, exam results have been coming out over the past couple of weeks. For me, the gap between exams and results seem to go on forever.
Originally I had intended this post to be some advice for the exams, but it turned very quickly into this. So, for a bit of light-hearted relief during the exam season, here is “A Day in the Life- Revising for a Maths Exam.”

It sounds […]
Easter break is drawing to a close and I have exactly 8 days until my first exam yet in a time where everybody seems to be spending their time either revising or doing everything in their power to avoid revising, I can’t seem to get America off my mind. I’ve mentioned before that I’ll be […]
Like a tin of well-known fence paint, this post will be about what the extremely imaginative title suggests. In the midst of (I wish I could say hardcore but that’s definitely pushing it… a lot) revision, I was just thinking about life when I realised, it’s actually still vacation time for the university! With the […]
It seems like just yesterday that I waved goodbye to my parents and unpacked my bags in my home for the year, but here I am with my first year of University drawing to a close. The year has flown by and whilst I’m excited for my year in the USA I’m also grasping on […]
I see no better time to write this post than when I am putting off revising for my final exam this Monday. In fact, we could construct a Logistic regression model to find the longest time interval I can put off studying for – see, revision pays off when you can ‘theory-drop’ into everyday conversation. […]
