What I’ve been making recently

Knitted Blanket – This is a knitted blanket that will be a long-term project for me. I knit a 10cmx10cm square in any colour I like and simply sew it onto what I already have. Right now I have 25 squares in all but I need a lot more to make a decent blanket. I am going to be lovely and warm come winter time!

Bunting and Cushions – I LOVE BUNTING – I cannot get enough of making it! It is so easy and satisfying and makes a permanent decoration for any part of your room or home. This is my second lot of bunting I have made this year and I really want to make a third, but right now I have so many craft projects going I really shouldn’t start another! Also below the bunting you can see a square cushion and an Owl cushion, both made and designed by me! I am contemplating selling my creations on etsy.com but just have not quite got round to it.

1-UP Pin Cushion – I love video games! And for anyone who even remotely knows the Super Mario series this little guy should be no stranger. I made this guy with felt and simply looking at pictures online of the mushroom (which is what he is called). I can now keep him in my sewing bow to hold all my pins and needles.

Urban Knitting in Oxford – Although this is not personally my craft project, I took this picture when I visited a friend in the beautiful city of Oxford a few weeks ago. As an avid knitter and crocheter I HAD to snap a picture of this 🙂 Urban knitting is a movement that does not necessarily stand for anything further than adding a few extra splashes of colour to a city environemnt.
