RESULTS

Hey y’all. So pretty much everyone has got their results back now and I hope that you got the results you deserved! It’s hard to avoid Facebook statuses confirming everyone’s final degree mark (guilty as charged) but it’s a time to celebrate whatever mark or whatever honour you get as you’ve now completed university!

In years 2&3 in American Studies the marks are divided 40% and 60% respectively. This division almost guaranteed my 2:1 and I can imagine it helped others along the line as well. If you do well in your dissertation (which is worth 2 modules in the third/fourth year) it massively helps you achieve a higher overall grade when those all important grades are released at the end of June.

Whatever degree you get, and at whatever level there is still plenty of opportunities for you. I’ve been looking at doing a Masters and the majority of courses are available to anyone with a minimum of a 2:2. So whatever you want to do; work, travel or continue in education there’s loads of chances to do whatever the hell you want.

Next stop…Graduation. oooooooooooo
