Family Time

Throughout the academic year I feel as if I don’t have enough time to spend with my family. Between all the essays, revision, practical write ups and then the meetings with friends, it feels as if I am constantly studying or having fun with friends rather than enjoying some quality time with my family. However, in these past two week I have caught up on the lost family time by spending practically every day doing something with family members. It began with a last minute shopping trip with some cousin sisters and then followed barbecues (when the sun was out the week before last), going out for desserts (belgian waffles anyone?), day trips to London and finally ended in a sleepover yesterday night!

So it feels as if I have crammed a years worth of family time into two weeks of non stop trips and events all of which have been thoroughly enjoyable! Now that I feel stress free and have no looming deadlines, I feel blissfully serene and content. No doubt though that this feeling wont last long as I have a To Do list which is getting very long! I keep putting off the activities on it (ie: clean my desk draws, organize the things I will need for my industrial  placement year (starting in 24 days!!!) and posting off some envelopes and parcels that have been lying around in my room for a while now!). Off I go now to start one of those tasks and hopefully the list wont be as long by the end of his day.

I hope everyone is enjoying there holidays and not stressing too much over the soon arrival of A level results day!
