Hey there blogosphere. Well, unless you have been hidden under a dreary rock somewhere, you all will know that in a matter of a few hours, 2014 will be over. On a sad note, I’m probably through a quarter of my life and even sadder: the final year of my Undergraduate degree. I won’t delve into a room of tears just yet, but instead focus on the best parts of 2014. It’s been a very varied year, travelling from the icy cold of Finland, to the tropical heat of India. No year has been like this one, one in which I spent the majority of the year away from England, and one where I made some sure friends from all over the globe. I can only hope that I’ll have many years like this one: both to visit some more alluring countries and to revisit the wonderful people I met this year!
Wherever you are in the world, I wish you all a Happy New Year, and leave you with some of my best moments in 2014! xoxo

Summer in Finland.. brief but beautiful

Reunited with Finland with Moomins in Brighton

Ahhh, Indian Tea – best of home and away

I saw freaking lions in India (in a caged vehicle, but who’s counting when it comes to sharp claws)

About Chris
Chris has now graduated from the University of Leicester.
I'm a guy finishing my Undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences (with a year abroad) at the University of Leicester. After a fun year in Finland, I will be getting down to the nitty gritty of life for a final year in Biology (specifically Microbiology). Along with a rant on studying, there will be a sprinkling of society chatter and my imminent thoughts on growing up into graduation and the beyond!
