After a very busy time getting all of my deadlines in for the end of term, I allowed myself to enjoy the long Easter weekend, staying away from the library and enjoying myself. It was bliss!
One new thing that I did was visit Thornton Reservoir, to watch the sunset over the water. As a student you do need a car to get there, but it is definitely worth the drive if you can do it. We were blessed with good weather on Good Friday so were able to have a lovely evening stroll around the reservoir and it feels like summer is finally on its way!
Next on my list is to visit Bradgate Park, but I’m saving this for May/ June time when the weather is even warmer. I’ve now received my exam timetable and my graduation date! It has hit me how little time I have left as an undergraduate. I do have plans in place for next year but these posts will be coming later when it’s set completely in stone. I can, however, reveal that I will be staying in Leicester, continuing with further study.
Happy Easter!
