After almost a week at home for Easter it’s time for me to head back to Leicester. I’d love to be able to spend more time at home, but unfortunately I don’t seem to be able to get much work done back in Nottingham. I guess this is for the following reasons:
1) The library isn’t there to encourage me to spend a solid chunk of my day working
2) There are many distractions (such as an actual TV and my lovely chocolate Labrador demanding attention)
3) My friends find out I’m back and want to catch up over lunch (which is a lot more appealing)
4) It’s the Easter holidays and I just want to lounge around relaxing
As I have a dissertation deadline creeping up and four huge exams to revise for, I’ve given myself this short amount of time off to destress before the real hard work begins. I’m determined to work as hard as I can for the final stint of my degree; hopefully it will pay off! The next two months aren’t going to be the most fun, but I know that once it’s all over I’ll have the summer waiting for me (including my trip to Canada!!!!!). It still hasn’t quite sunk in that in just over two months I’ll have taken my last exam and will be shopping for a graduation dress!
