Okay hi
So my new timetable is great. Because I don’t have labs this term, and instead have the joys of writing up my dissertation, I don’t have to go into uni on Mondays or Tuesdays. When I first saw this, I started to think about how great a 4 day weekend would be. So much extra time. I can finally do all the things that I keep putting off.
However, a couple of weeks in, I have quickly realised that this extra ‘time off’ was in fact deliberately put into the timetable so that we could have enough time to write up our dissertations. On top of that, as a final year student, I have to do all sorts of job applications too.
It’s quite a weird feeling really, going from being in uni for more-or-less all day every day to being a ‘proper student’ is quite exciting, although I do have a new-found respect for people who have fewer contact hours, and who still manage to motivate themselves to focus on their work each day. I guess this is what it must be like to work from home.
Loveyoubye
