Here’s some photo’s from my latest Climbing trip, this time we went to the Peak District and experienced some of the nicest British weather I’ve ever seen, but we could only go for one day and we borrowed the Safety Bus (a mini-bus which ferries students home after drunken nights out or late nights in the library for only £2) so we had to be back by 5pm. It was a great day overall, driving along the nicest road in England through think fog, we assended the route to walk above the clouds…
Joining a society is one of the best things you can do at uni, you make friends and new memories of experiences that wouldn’t be possible otherwise. I really enjoy the Climbing Soceity because they have a great community spirit, we all went around Amy’s house yesterday and had a BBQ in this lovely weather and were all getting a coach in June to visit London for the Jubilee (watch out for that post!).
In terms of Criminology things are in a bit of a limbo, were almost at the end of our second year, the sun is shining and everybody wants to party for the Easter holidays. On the other hand, we have two 4000 word essays to write and we need to be thinking of ideas for our 3rd Year dissertations because when we get back in May, people are gonna be fighting for the best Modules.
I have no idea what I’m going to do yet but I won’t let it worry me. The best advice I can give about Uni Life is to take it one day at a time, don’t let the workload get you down and enjoy the sunshine.
