On Thursday morning, I officially graduated from the University of Leicester. It was a day that I knew would be special, but I really couldn’t’ve imagined just how amazing it would feel. To hear your name called and get to walk across the stage in front of all your fellow graduates, friends, professors, and of course your parents, and in my case my grandmother too, was incredible. I am so proud of my achievements over the past three years, both academic and otherwise, and getting to celebrate them with some of my favourite people was quite a moment.
Leicester has been so good to me, and it is definitely sad to have officially left university, but I’m glad that graduation is my final memory.
Congratulations to the class of 2017 and thank you Leicester, it’s been real.
