Tomorrow, the 31st of July 2017, officially brings my student blogging experience to an end. It not only marks the end of this job but also brings me officially to the end of my university experience. Even though I graduated a couple of weeks ago, having this blog meant that I still had some official connection to the University of Leicester. Therefore, today is extra sad for me.
I’ve really enjoyed writing for this site over the past 12 months, it’s been a consistent way to think and write about my university experiences, and hopefully helped and entertained many of the people who read it. I’d highly recommend joining the student blogging community here at Leicester, or even starting up a blog yourself. It’s made me realise how much I love writing in this colloquial style and, hopefully I’m not being naive in saying this, but it’s also helped me realise that I’m quite good at it… Big statements.
So, thank you to the organisers of this blog, the University of Leicester and to all of the readers, it’s been a blast. And lastly, just a quick good luck to the next economics blogger, I hope you find this experience as fun as I did.
Peace out Leicester, you’ve been a dream.
