I am pleased to inform you that I have been having Diverse Adventures in the Ancient Country of Italy, specifically in the City of Turin, or Torino, and have settled in to the Italian Climate quite Amiably, and can therefore proceed to describe in a Crude Manner my General Situation.
Having been given the Generous Opportunity to engage in Studies Abroad with the Erasmus Programme, I acquired Lodgings not far from Palazzo Nuovo, the Humanities Department of the Universita’ degli Studi di Torino, and I take my lessons in English Literature in Several Different Buildings, including Palazzo Badini, and Via Giolitti 33, which amount to a Significant Number of Study Hours, due to Lectures of Two-Hour Duration, noticably longer than my Lectures in England; however, these Lectures, taught in the English Tongue, often commence later and complete earlier than the Scheduled Time would suggest. The Teaching Style is also quite Diverse. The Selection of Literature that I am studying includes Great Expectations, A Room with a View, The Tempest, Sense and Sensibility, Jane Eyre, The End of the Affair, and Look Back in Anger, many of which I am Quite Fond.
I have already visited the Mountain City of Domodossola, as well as the Historic Bay of Naples, observing Diverse Museums and Ruins, including the Roman City of Pompei and the Underground Tunnels of Naples. Needless to say I have sampled the Local Cusine when possible, and have concluded that the Italians harbour a Strong Affection for Cheese, Garlic, Onions, Tomatoes, Pasta, Olives, Tuna, Nutella, Pastries, Wine, and Coffee. Perhaps it is with Intimate Knowledge such as this that I will be able to improve my Impoverished Italian Speaking Capacities.
I will continue to write frequently in the Future with my Discovered Tips on the Attributes of the Erasmus Program in Italy, its Realities, its Secrets, its Obscurities, &c., and will be Glad to answer any Questions regarding the Working of the Scheme from Interested Individuals. Do not be witheld by Courtesy and deny yourself this Splendid Opportunity for Cultural Enrichment.
