Hey, my name’s Viki, and I’m going to be blogging about my time as a final year English student here. I’m currently away in Germany, studying in a little town called Heidelberg at Germany’s oldest university, founded in 1386. I’ve actually been blogging about my Erasmus year since September, so you can have a look at what I’ve been doing here if you like. I’m originally from just outside Manchester, down the road from a village called Bramhall, which is apparently the least lonely place to live in England! I don’t know about that, but I’m definitely a home bird, so going away to university was a big deal for me, and being in Germany even more so. That being said, I can’t tell you how glad I am that I moved away, and to Leicester in particular, because it’s just such a manageable size that I feel like I’m slowly being nudged on my way into adulthood and independence, without being traumatised along the way! I’ll be writing on this blog about the practicalities of my degree, what I’m studying at the moment, some (hopefully useful) tips about student life, and a little bit about my own interests as well. If you ever have any questions about anything I’ve talked about or in general, just drop a comment in the section below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

About victoria
Viki has now graduated from the University of Leicester. Hey, my name is Viki and I’ll be blogging about being back in Leicester and completing my final year studying English, having just come back from a year abroad in Germany. Hopefully I’ll be able to give you an insight into Leicester life as I adjust to being back!
Hi Viki! I won’t be around for much longer, but it looks like you’re safe hands to leave the blog in. Erasmus 4 lyfe!
Hey! I’m sad you’re going, I’ve enjoyed reading your posts over the last couple of years, I hope I can do half as well as you! Good luck with graduation, I hope you have a fantastic day 🙂
Thanks, it was a lovely day!
