I thought I’d change things up with this blog post. While continuing with my ‘creative writing’ challenge, I decided that ‘grass’ would be an interesting word to go with. A couple of weeks ago, I spent a week in Devon, staying with my flatmates from university, and I had an incredible time. I hadn’t been on a holiday with a group of friends, before, and it was a lovely first.
And let me tell you, there’s a lot of grass in Devon.
So, I decided to document the experience through a vlog! It was a collaboration between me and Jowan, who has his own channel called ‘Uni Vlogs’, where he gives insight into life at university. He made an awesome vlog about how he and our friends took part in The Big Sleep with the university, raising thousands of pounds for the homeless charity, The Bridge! It’s really interesting, so I implore you to check it out!
Apologies for the watermark – my editing programme was playing up, so I had to improvise with an online movie editor. Not sponsored 😉
Meeting these friends has honestly been a huge part of the reason why going to UoL was the best decision I’ve ever made. Of course, I love the university and the degree and the whole experience, but being able to experience everything with these guys has been amazing. I love them dearly.
