Hey guys, I’m Bryony but most people call me Bry. I’m a second year BA Human Geography student. In my spare time I love to travel, as well as watching movies and cooking for my flatmates. I’ll be writing blogs about a whole range of topics, including tips and tricks for uni life, my experiences of doing a geography degree, and everything in between.
So here is a little follow up vlog from my last post on how to travel on a budget! We had a fantastic time in Barcelona for not a lot of money which makes it even better! Let me know where you’re going this summer! Watch it here!
My housemates Charlotte, Holly and I, decided we wanted to treat ourselves after exams and book a city break. But we are all students, and didn’t want our hard earned money to wash away within a three day trip. After looking at lots of potential destinations we decided on Barcelona. We had a strict budget […]
So as part of the second year optional modules I chose to do a module called Geography in Education, which was compromised of a six week teaching placement, going into a local secondary school once a week, an essay and a learning log about the placement. Luckily Geography as a course seems to be quite evenly weighted between coursework and exams whereas other courses can be heavier either way. In January I had 3 exams worth 50%, 75% and 100% of their respective modules either […]
I’m almost positive that I’m not the only person who has brilliant ideas on how to stay organised that go out the window before day 1 is even over. Whilst I was organised enough during first year to get all my assignments in on time and with pretty decent grades my second year is going […]
In our current consumer based society you’d be living under a rock to have not heard the term ‘Plastic Pollution’. It is something that has seemingly taken over social media with trending hashtags such as #savetheseaturtles. It seems we are now becoming the generation of change and the generation who are more than willing to […]
