I’m back!
Sorry for being so late, but the dissertation that has taken over all of my Easter hols (and before!) is now DONE! Its sad to say that the final assignment of my degree is now over… *Sob* (But I’ve also got 3 exams to do, so revision time…)
BUT, we saw the end of term out a bang with the annual Ball! Joint with English, around 200 of us hit Athena, a popular Leicester venue for balls and conferences. We started with a tropical cocktail on arrival, followed by a three-course meal, with free table wine! After food there was a fire performer who used poi, devil sticks and other twirly things, all whilst fir eating or fire breathing!
After the entertainment, the DJ got proverbial the party started! Hitting the dancefloor, the Third Years strutted their accumulated dancing wisdom from three years of University nights out! Then we took a big group photo of the “leavers” and headed to the SU for Shabang!
Unfortunately I lost my camera in the taxi on the way there, kinda put a downer on my whole evening so I decided to go home…
BUT, *Unsubtle plug* Dave the taxi driver from Queens Cabs found it and returned it to me this evening! I’m SO lucky, AND it means you can see a few pics from the evening!
It was a good way to let our hair down before the final hard work begins, yet 3 x 2hour exams and it’ll all be over… I’ll keep you informed!
