This is a mid-revision update again, in the form of some things I have learnt about continuing to study right at the end of exams season:
-
For some reason History students have really late exams, and yes it is annoying when your housemates have finished their degrees and you haven’t. However, you can turn this to your advantage by begging them to give you food and do the hoovering out of pity
-
Make sure you have hard copies of your notes so you can read them outside in the sun. From personal experience it’s not even worth trying to look at your laptop
-
Bring sunglasses with you every time you go outside. Your eyes are used to being holed up in the dark revising, and aren’t used to the outside world where this thing called the sun exists
-
If you know you don’t revise well sitting with a group of friends who might persuade you into cracking open a cold one with the lads at any given moment, DON’T DO IT
-
Highlighters. Enough said.
