On today’s round of Thing to Do in Leicester That Aren’t Drinking, I’m gonna be talking about the awesome trip I took last week to Gorse Hill City Farm.
Now I’m a city girl born and bred (honestly, the first time I saw a cow I was 11 and totally freaked out, those things are huge!) so anything countryside related tends to have me bored out my mind, so when my boyfriend (a country boy) suggested we go, I was sceptical.
I did not count on there being tiny little baby pigs however. As well as baby goats, lambs and giant fuzzy bunnies amongst other things.
I even got to feed a goat.
If you’re looking for a different way to get outdoors for an afternoon, check it out.
-Go on a weekday (less kids)
-Bring some cash, Its £2 to get in.
-Go all out and bring lunch with you, there’s a picnic area.
I’ll be back on Monday with some Art History for y’all!
