With exams done it was time for us to live like Freshers again and do all the fun things that uni has to offer for one final time.
After a couple of nights out following exams, including one where you’ll see probably more of the people you’ve met at Leicester than any other (the after exams party of your Final year) I took part in a slightly random 24 hour swimathon with the swim club. We swam the event in teams of 4, doing shifts of around 5 hours, and I was in the group which landed the quite nice evening slot. Nevertheless, we were all pretty tired by the time we finished!
Following that we spent days mucking around in Vicky Park, having barbecues and generally just relaxing after exams before heading up to around where I’m from to visit our former housemate, who’d been stuck in social Siberia whilst we hit the library, and give him the proper night out he’d been waiting a few months for!
With that all done, and thoroughly we relaxed, we had our final summer ball which is a great night, and a good opportunity for quite a few of our 2012 graduate friends to come up and live uni life again for a couple of days!
Now, all that’s left is results (EEEEK) and (fingers crossed) graduation!
