The final 7 days of examinations is approaching students at the University of Leicester next week and I can confidently say, on behalf of all of us, that we cannot wait till we are free. This exam season, in particular, has been incredibly long, difficult and draining so I cannot wait for the days when I can sleep, eat, rest and enjoy the Summer!
Despite all of the stress that inevitably comes with revision and exams, I must admit the Student’s Union here at the University of Leicester and the University as a whole have been making a great effort to help us stay calm and relaxed. From keeping the Library open 24 hours a day to making sure there is bubble wrap that you can pop on-the-go, the University are providing us with as many outlets to preserve what is left of our sanity.
A couple of weeks ago, the Student’s Union also set up a ‘Puppy Petting Station’ which my friend, Rachel, visited! Here is an article in the Independent to find out more about it: http://www.independent.co.uk/student/news/bubble-wrap-and-puppies-for-anxious-students-at-the-university-of-leicester-9399329.html
Finally, as two of my final exams approach next week, the next time we meet, I will be a liberated (until next year) law student! I’m very excited to share with you the many adventures I’m planning in June!
Good luck with all of your last exams!
Zara 🙂
P.S: A big thank you to Rachel!
