Picking up from where I left off during my last post in October and I was in the midst of preparing for UNICEF on Campus’ annual Halloween Bake Sale. I am happy to announce that it was another successful fundraiser where our efforts paid off as we managed to raise over £220 for UNICEF UK!!
As I have probably stated in previous posts, I am an active member of the UNICEF on Campus society and I really enjoy the fact that even though I am a student, I can still get involved in fundraisers that go towards making a difference in the lives of children in need across the world.
Something that prospective students should never undermine is the importance of fundraising! Take a look at my post that I did last year to find out why! Furthermore, take a look at my series of UNICEF on Campus posts which really do show how you can be an active member of a society, even if you do have hundreds of pages of law textbooks to read.
On that note, however, it is time for me to get back to the reading.
If you have any questions about societies at the University of Leicester or anything else, I would be more than happy to answer, so please do leave a comment below!
Until next time…
Zara 🙂
