I can’t believe I am writing my last ever post and announcing that my time at Leicester is officially now over. Before I say goodbye, I thought it would only be fitting that the final post be about graduation day.
So, on Friday, graduation day had finally arrived and I was accompanied by my proud parents and two brothers to attend the ceremony at the beautiful De Montford Hall. The ceremony itself was lovely and I am ecstatic that I did not fall over when walking across the stage! 🙂
The Vice-Chancellor made a very inspiring speech and was right in saying that the day would be one of the most important and memorable ones of our lives.
For me, it was truly an incredibly special day as you are able to celebrate 3 years of hard work. The endless reading lists, the essays and the months of revision was all worth it!
So, what is next for me? Well, as I have officially graduated, I can now say that I will definitely be attending the University of Nottingham in September to begin a LLM.
I am very excited for the new challenge ahead of me and I wish anyone who will be coming to the University of Leicester the best of luck. I guarantee that if you go to Leicester, you will have the time of your life!
I now leave you with Georgina, a final year Law student who will be taking over for me so make sure you keep up with her blogs to find out more about what its like to study at the University of Leicester. To see her first post, take a look here.
Its been a fantastic two years writing for you all.
