In order to try and maintain my sanity throughout the busy exam/ essay writing period I have decided to try out meditation.
I am using an app called Headspace which offers a free trial in the form of ten, ten minute guided meditation sessions.
I have been listening to them just before bed in order to help my mind relax and slow down so that I don’t get into bed wide eyed with my mind running through cases and reminding me of that paper I still need to read or that judgement I wanted to check.
I think that so far it has had a positive impact and so I’m planning to continue to take time out for meditation each day. Who knows it could turn into a life long habit.
