Hi all, this blog post is just a quick update on what I’m up to. I’m packing my bags tonight and I’ll head home, tomorrow. This term seems to have flown past now that I’ve finished my lectures. It’s been a good term, but I’m looking forward to the holidays and it will be nice to see my family and to relax a bit. But being in my final year, I feel like there will be little time to put my feet up, because I’ll have three exams in January, which I will need to prepare for. I’ll be sure to follow my own advice in a previous blog post on effective revision techniques.
I haven’t yet decided on whether I’ll come back up to Leicester early to get on with some more revision over the holidays. It depends on how well my revision goes at home. If I find that I’m getting too distracted by quality day-time TV programmes, such as Flog It and Bargain Hunt, I may have to come back early. And a benefit to being in Leicester is my gym membership, because it’s important to get proper exercise to stay healthy, especially around exams when stress levels can be higher than normal. The flipside of coming back to Leicester early is that I don’t like to revise in the library during the examination period, because it gets full of panic-stricken students.
That’s all of the news that I have for now. I’d like to wish everyone happy holidays and the best of luck for revision and for the future.
