Hi, all. This blog post is a quick update on some of my thoughts and what I’m up to at the moment.
Now that the second semester of my final year is well under way, it seems strange that the end of my time at the University of Leicester is in sight. I have some mixed feelings about the fact that I will soon be graduating. It will be exciting to move on and to do something different with my life. However, I’m sure that I will miss the academic challenges of university, and the greater degree of freedom it has given me in terms of structuring my own time, when compared with the world of work. But I’m not getting too sentimental just yet, because my studies are keeping me busy. I’ve currently got coursework in all four of my modules, and so I’m doing quite a bit of reading.
I’ve also planned a trip to Prague for the Easter holidays, which I’m excited about. I find that having something planned is a good form of motivation. It’s easier to work hard when there’s something to look forward to.
In my next blog post, I’ll write about some of the things that I enjoy doing in my free time here in Leicester.
