I will be leaving for the UK with my family in around a week to attend my graduation. Though we won’t be in the UK for too long, we will definitely be touring the city of London for a couple of days. I am assuming that a lot of you will be going on vacation for the Summer with your friends and family. I thought it would be nice to give you some tips to make your Summer travels more budget friendly and convenient.
a) Book early!
This one’s a no-brainer. Flight, coach and bus tickets get more and more expensive closer to the time of your departure, especially return tickets. So make sure to book early. The earlier, the better.
b) Location matters too!
The book early tip applies to hotels too. The earlier you book, the more money you save. Also, book a hotel with a convenient location. Make sure it is not too much of a hassle to travel from your place of stay to all the tourist locations.
c) Deals! Deals! Deals!
You generally don’t need to book tickets to most of the tourist attractions in advance. The price usually remains the same. I want to stress upon making use of deals and packages. You’ll be drowning in unnecessary expenses if you pay an individual price for each tourist attraction. There are plenty of deals and packages online that will help you save a lot of money.
These are some of the things that I keep in mind when planning a vacation. Do you have any tips? Post them in the comment section below! 🙂
