Hello everyone! I hope everyone’s doing well. So, I was in London for around a week after leaving Leicester. I spent a good 10 wonderful days in London last year when my cousin came to visit. This time I had my family with me and I was even more excited. I thought I’d give you a little update on the trip and everything we got up to.
We were residing pretty close to the Hyde Park. The weather was pleasant and the afternoon walk through the Kensington Gardens was a lovely start to our trip. The next day I took my little brother to the ZSL London Zoo. If you are fond of penguins, you MUST visit this zoo. They are absolutely adorable and fun to watch. We tried visiting the British Museum right after but were unable to cover all the sections as it was nearly closing time. My mother would not leave the UK without visiting Madame Tussauds’ so we obviously took a trip there the very next day. The Marvel 4D cinema experience towards the end was cherry on top of the cake. My little brother and I enjoyed it the most since we are huge Marvel fans. He is also a massive Science lover and aspires to work in NASA when he grows up. A visit to the Science Museum was the perfect birthday gift for him from me. I saved up some money from what I had earned from working part-time when I was in university and gifted him a day at the Wonderlab and the 3D cinema showing of A Hidden Universe. We had a gala time. If you have a loved one who is a Science or space nerd, then definitely take them to the Science Museum. They have absolutely wonderful things to do there. And bookings can be made very easily online. The last day we took the hop-on-hop-off bus which I totally recommend! It is such a convenient way to cover all the locations and tourist attractions in London. They also have some great packages depending on what you want to do. I booked the package that came with the River Thames cruise. And a ride on the London Eye was a must. The view was breathtaking. Apart from the fact that it rained very heavily that day and we were sitting on top of the bus (without an umbrella may I add and I was having a great hair day), it was an absolutely delightful experience.
