The next two weeks are going to be quite busy. With three exams and two job interviews for graduate positions on the horizon, there’s a lot of revision to be done and preparation to be done and I’m looking forward to it being over and the chance to start my new modules for our new semester. I’ve been preparing by doing all of the practice exams and making sure I know my theorems and definitions off by heart, so hopefully I’ll be well prepared for the exams, but it’s always really scary not knowing what will come up. I’m also really nervous about my interviews. For graduate schemes with large companies, you have to apply very early and there’s so much competition I’m working hard to try and get examples of skills I have learnt during my degree and university experience to try and get the job.
At the moment I’ve been staying at home, so I’m also really looking forward to seeing my house mates again when I go back again on Sunday. Although it is great to catch up with friends from home, and I did manage to see my friend to go to the cinema before she rushed off back to her year abroad, it’s really weird to spend so much time with people and then not see them for a whole month. All of my friends from uni live scattered all over the country, and so it’s often not practical to go and see them in holidays. Meeting up again is always really fun though!
