Hello! It seems like forever since I made a blog post (and that’s because it has been a while, sorry!). I’ve been busy over the past couple of months studying, writing my dissertation, getting ready to move to France and starting up my own business (more on that in a separate post), which is why I have not been as attentive to blogging as I should have been.
But for the last month, I am back and I’m going to try and post on some issues that you (prospective and current students) want me to. So if you have any questions, issues or worries about coming to Leicester (or any) university in September, let me know in the comments section below and I’ll try to make a post answering all of them!
For now though, I’m going through the motions of waiting for my results. If you’re a third year and waiting painstakingly like I am, it can be pretty frustrating when you go on Facebook to see posts from friends of other universities like “Pleased to say I’ve got a 2:1”. If you’re waiting on results from the Maths department, I’ve been informed that results should be released the week beginning 27th June (however this is a tentative date, so don’t quote me on that). “But that is still so far away” I hear you cry, and I know. Even though I’ve been told this date, I’ve still been checking My Student Record every day (obviously to no avail).
So all I can do, and advise you to do right now, is sit back, enjoy the start of your summer, and try to forget about results until they arrive.
