I’m afraid to say this is sadly my last blog post for the foreseeable future – but never fear! My wonderful replacement, Tamara, will be taking over from this month onwards, keeping you up to date with the wonderful world of Leicester Medical Education.
It’s been a real blast writing this over the course of the last year. From room beaches to solar eclipses, finalising applications and flipping flashcards, this has been a truly wonderful experience – Most of all it was a real pleasure to speak to people who managed to glean something useful from this oft-random deposit of thoughts.
Where am I off to now then? Well, after a much anticipated summer break, I’ll be braving the rent prices below the M25 and heading to Imperial College London to study Global Health for a year, and hopefully throwing in some research alongside. I’m also going to be taking over as Secretary for Medsin, a Global Health network of students who represent the UK at the International Federation of Medical Student Associations, which I’m sure is going to be a fantastic experience.
So that’s it from me! It’s been a real pleasure and I wish you all the best. A final big thanks the blogging team (Caroline, Victoria & Co) who kindly supported me throughout this venture, and best of luck to Tamara (not that she’ll need it with you lovely lot).
