On Thursday I had my last (and first actually, I was one of the lucky ones!) exam. I was pretty happy with how it went as 2 of the 3 questions I answered were topics I felt confident on so fingers crossed when we get our results in around 3 weeks, I will be pleased.
Yesterday, to celebrate the end of the exam season, my boyfriend and I went to the Harry Potter studios. We got a direct train into St. Pancras which took just over an hour and then caught the train to Watford where we then had to get a bus to the studios. Sounds complicated but it went quickly and I was getting more and more excited during the journey!
I don’t want to ruin all the surprises so that you can discover them for yourself but mentioning a few highlights won’t hurt! I rode a broomstick, drank butterbeer and admired all the detail of the sets they built for all the films. They had lots of videos to show how certain scenes were constructed and more than anything, it looked like the cast and crew had so much fun being part of the films. How I wish I could have been a part of it but going to the studio was almost as good.
Then we got the train back to London and caught the tube to Westfields to get some dinner. Avid blog readers of mine will already know about my love for Nando’s and a Lemon and Herb burger with chips was the perfect end to a day full of excitement. The rest of my weekend will be spent finishing off (and in some cases starting, oops!) a few pieces of Christmas homework before lectures begin again on Monday. After 2 solid weeks of having revision as my main activity, I’m looking forward to getting back into the swing and routine of lectures.
