Take full advantage of your student status! Theme parks, shops, salons, restaurants and travel, i’d recommend always enquiring as you might be pleasantly surprised and save a few.

I went to Alton towers with a few friends and bagged myself a student ticket for a nice discount. After much planning, we decided to go on the first Monday of half term, during the scarefest week even though that particular day scarefest wasn’t on.

All was good though because the park was pretty much empty with max queue times approx 10 mins!

The halloween theme and scarefest decorations were really cool though and definitely set the vibe. Plus we managed to go on all the rides except Cbeebies LOL ? and The Smiler which was undergoing maintenance…

Deffo check out student prices on all the big theme parks and try and go on a weekday to get the most out of your day and the journey.
