Summer 2018

Hi

The sun is finally out!

The weather is amazing (even though I am stuck in the house writing assignments), I just want to get out there and soak up the sunshine.

yr2 of ODP-ing is coming to an end very soon and with only 4 weeks of placement left between now and the end of our academic year I can’t believe it’s nearly over…Very soon I won’t be able to hide anymore, I need to know my stuff! XD

Other than revising for my exam which is on my b-day week 🙁 and finishing up the last few presentations and assignments, I have lots planned for Summer 2018 and I’m well excited to get to relax a little before yr3 kicks in.

(Shamelessly  repping Leicester) This weather is perfect for picnicking and Leicester has loads of parks to offer; Victoria park which is conveniently right on uni campus, Abbey park and Bradgate park to name a few.

A friend also has her bday coming up and wants to go to the spa so naturally i am petrified as I have never been before so we shall see what that’s like.

Some people decide to get a summer job too which is a good idea if you have the time for it as the ODP course is not structured like your typical uni course so finding time is sometimes difficult if you want to commit to something extracurricular. Nevertheless, I thought I would just take some time out to write this blog as I was inspired by the beautiful weather and now I should really get back to writing this presentation thingy. I hate presenting btw but this course is all about pushing yourself to achieve the best you can. Patience, perseverance and hard work can get you far in life.
