Hi all, sorry for going away for so long, I’ve just been flooded with revision work for exams. Its only about a month away from the final midsummer examinations and tensions are running high for everyone!
I’m really glad we have loads of time off during Easter to focus on revision, we are meant to return for a week of revision lectures on the 6th of May. I’ll have to sit 18 hours of examinations at the end of May so fingers crossed! The format is such that we’re meant to sit a 3-hour exam for each of the modules for the year. So there are 4 exams for Physics and 2 for Mathematical Physics. These exams are going to account for 70% of our total mark so this is big stuff boys and girls.
The good thing is though, only days after we return at the start of May, we have revision lectures to refresh our memory. Two hours for every module. Hopefully this will help and serve as a memory boost before the big day!
Only recently I had a look at the format of the exam papers and found that the question format and style were actually quite similar to the weekly assignments we did all year, so that’s a load off our minds!
Good luck to UoL hopefuls sitting their A-Level exams! Hope everyone does excellently and hopefully see you all here next year!
Bye for now, I’ll try to be more regular in my posts.
