Last night the Politics and International Relations Society hosted their first freshers bar crawl of the year. This free event saw students from all years & disciplines embark on a journey from Revolutions to the infamous Red Leicester.
As we met at 9.30pm, people began flocking through the doors, excitement was in the air. We began by handing out our prestigious membership cards to those who’ve officially joined, don’t worry if you don’t have one, it’s never too late to take part!
After hitting a few bars, we linked up with the History, Economics and Management societies creating a force to be reckoned with. For official records, everybody made it to the final destination alive and well.
Despite what you’re told, life at university is so much more than just reading books. Make the most of your time here through networking and interacting with people who share your passions. We intend on continuing to offer ways to help enrich your time here; remember this is YOUR society! So get stuck in and keep your ears on the ground for our upcoming debates and HALLÖWEEN SÖCIAL.
Welcome to PѲLAIR.
