Sorry if I haven’t posted in a while, but I’ve been ridiculously busy in the past few days, and I will still be for the next days as well! It’s like everything decided to happen this week! Just hear me out.
I had an essay (the one on Gaze Aversion, remember?) due last Wednesday; I worked on it a lot and it was ready by Monday morning. But we also have a report due next Thursday, which means we basically had just a week between the deadlines and, okay, maybe it was my fault for not working on it sooner, but I can’t focus on two assignments at the same time! So now I have, like, 5 days to write it. And it’s not even our normal report! It’s on Qualitative research, therefore we don’t have to work with numerical data and discuss results, like usual. This time we were given five interviews to analyse, which means learning how to use the procedure of “coding”, looking for recurring “themes”, identifying those themes and writing the report based on a hypothetical research question we have to come up with ourselves. It’s something I’m not used to, it’s the first time we do it, and yeah… I’m slightly terrified.
Also, I have no time to work on it because, guess what! My training with Victim Support started on Thursday! It was on today, and will be on tomorrow as well! It’s really interesting and I love it so far, but it’s from 10.00 to 5.00!
Not to mention I’m gonna have Volleyball practice on Sunday, and Volleyball games on Monday night and Wednesday afternoon.
When am I gonna write this report?! I’m a little bit stressed out… but I guess things will work out eventually. They kinda have to!
At least I’ve been offered a place on the Leicester Award Volunteering Programme, so there’s that! 😀
If I don’t have a mental breakdown within the next week, I’ll tell you more about my training! 😛
