Hello guys, so unfortunately I’m still going through exams season. I’ve done three exams so far, of which one was Cognitive Psychology, today, and hey I survived! So I’m gonna tell you something very quickly before I go back to revising for my next exam. By the way, five exams is madness. Two 100% exams are madness. But anyway.
We had a Petting Zoo on campus the other day!
I couldn’t believe when I heard what was going on. It was two days ago, and apparently they did it to help students cope with exams stress. Well, I don’t know about helping with stress, but the animals were just adorable! There was a small cow, a pony, a dog, then super small chickens and ducks! And geese, but I find them kind of menacing… I don’t know. The ducks were just too cute, I’ve never seen such small ducks in my life. There was a fence of course, but you could pet the animals or ask to hold them for a bit.
I just thought it was a really sweet idea, I mean, I don’t know if it actually helps coping with the stress, but the thought that my university let that happen makes me smile a bit. It was such a nice gesture! I think I’ve overheardĀ someone saying that last year some students suggested the idea, and they made it happen this year. That’s some listening skills they have, I really appreciate it.
And here, have a picture of the duck I was holding. So cute.
I’ll be back after exams are over!
