With all these posts about university I almost forgot to tell you about my summer!
After I got back from Leicester I went straight to Malta with a couple of friends. It was fun, the water was unbelievable and we went on a one-day mini-cruise to this bay called the Blue Lagoon which was basically a tropical heaven! The beach itself was ridiculously busy, but we still got to spend a nice day sunbathing on the boat and swimming around! After I that I came back home and spent the rest of my time chilling with different groups of friends I left in Italy, mainly going out for pizza and ice cream (yes I know, a bit stereotypical)! 😛
Speaking of sweet things, now that I’m home and someone else is paying for the ingredients, I resumed my baking hobby! I love baking, and especially cake decorating, but it’s way too expensive and time-consuming to suit my life in England :/ So I’ve made Oreo cupcakes (in the picture), marmalade pie and a red velvet cake basically in two weeks. I think I can stop now, mainly because my family gets to eat all these things (since making them is the fun part to me!) and they asked for a break. Fair enough! In case you enjoy baking as well, I should inform you that there is a Baking Society at uni! A friend of mine is part of it and they always have great fun, they organises classes and tea parties! Here’s some info if you’re interested:
I can’t afford it time-wise, but I would definitely suggest signing up if you’re in your first year! Because I can assure you, you will never have as much free time ever again! 😉
