Yesterday night I went to a charity event organised by people from the university for Unicef society. It was Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory-themed, how could I say no?!
It was a nice event, smaller than I thought it would be but very cute! They 
had music on, chocolates and chocolate cupcakes everywhere, chocolate and candy themed decorations, and even a chocolate fountain! And in case I’ve never mentioned this before on this blog, I am a bit of a chocoholic. 😛 I went there with a housemate, we had some drinks at the bar and danced quite a bit! We didn’t stay too late though, I have volleyball today and I still need to do some work. I actually really miss the idea of being able to take a night/day off just for the sake of it.
But I guess that’s just third year…
Anyway it was really nice, and it all goes towards charity so that’s always an incentive. 🙂
I find it ironic that all my posts in February are about hanging out and having fun, because this has definitely been the worst month so far. But hopefully I’m done spending my days in the lab, testing participants. My next post will be about that, do not worry! 😉 As soon as my essay is handed in (by Thursday 5th, 12pm!) I want to enjoy the amount of sunny days we’re having lately (I can’t wait for spring!). I will be working on my dissertation, but without the pressure of a close deadline. 🙂
