Now University is officially over, and I am extremely happy to say I have achieved a First Class Honours Degree in Psychology! 😀
The past few days have been hectic to say the least. I have been dealing with packing ALL my stuff, finding a storage facility and taking it there, finding a new place and at the same time applying for graduate jobs for next year. Now I am finally home, although I doubt this bliss will last.
Cleaning up my room and house has been more challenging than I initially thought. It wasn’t just about packing things and piling up boxes! I had to repaint my room, and clean up some of the house shared areas. It wouldn’t have been so bad, if I hadn’t had a thousand other things to do and think about!
One of those was to arrange a meeting with a letting agency to get the keys of my new place.
By the way, that place was so incredibly hard to find! I wanted to stay where I am now, around the Clarendon Park area. I really like it, I like Queens Road and I like the park, and the city centre is still really close! 🙂 I found a studio, which is perfect since I’m gonna live alone next year. I used to be quite nervous about it, now I’m very excited and honestly can’t wait! Most of the houses are for students, so you get 2, 3, 4 beds. Single houses are a lot more difficult to find, and the cheapest are in town, which I didn’t really want to live in (I like more quiet places). I’m happy with what I found, and can’t wait to decorate it! 🙂
I’m gonna get my key when I come back to England, then wait for my family to come help me move my stuff from storage. Being a foreign student is great, until you realise you don’t have a family that can drive to you and pick up your stuff! Good thing my boyfriend was there to help me through all this. 🙂
Now I’m home, I get to be fed and looked after, while I keep writing applications for next year.
I got my 1st Class Degree, which was my university goal from the very beginning. Now, I need a job!
Fingers crossed! 🙂
