So, I am the new blogger for sociology…

A big hello to the prospective students, current students, lecturers, parents and to anybody else who may be reading my blog, I am the new blogger for sociology here at Leicester University! I thought I would start with a little introduction of myself before posting about my life at university. So, here is a brief fact file of myself…

Hobbies: Walking, reading, concerts.

Interesting Fact: I am an identical twin.

Favourite colour: Pink.

Favourite food: Roast dinner.

Favourite aspect of university: The friends I have made.

So what will my blogs be about? Well, I am extremely passionate about sociology (which is why I study it!), so many of my posts will be devoted to the interesting discussions which arise in my studies. As well as this I am a regular reader of the news, therefore anything which interests me in the news is likely to become a blog post. I am confident that many of my posts will also be about university life in general, whether it is an update on a lecture or perhaps a confession of the crazy antics me and my flatmates get up to, therefore if you are unsure of what to expect at university then keep an eye on my blog page!
