Now, never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be sitting here and writing about my mountain climbing experience…
University is a place where such opportunities presents itself and you some how you end up finding yourself in places you’d never imagined yourself to be in. So the Saturday just gone (29th October) I woke up at 1:30am and found myself on a coach by 3am. Then by 9am I was in Wales. Come half one in the afternoon, I was on the summit of Mount Snowdon!
This was a charity climb as part of charity week which the Islamic society had undertaken. Snowdon was the most physical and mental challenge that I had undertaken but the views that I witnessed on the way up and the fact that I had so many people sponsoring me really makes the pain, I’m currently in, all worth it.
So this is adventure one done, on to adventure two…
