The final week of the semester!

The final week semester has come round so quickly, I am currently in the middle of writing my final essay to be handed in at the end of this week!

But last week the university put on a Christmas market which really helped shift some attention away from deadlines approaching, and to be honest this has really spread some Christmas cheer around campus! Over Thursday and Friday there was a market with stalls selling a whole variety of things from minced pies (a must!) to hand made jewellery. On top of all that there were real reindeers and an ice rink (that to completely free!). In my first three months at the uni, I have not seen this many people gathered together in one place looking so happy. Plus, the Christmas trees around campus are up!

The ice rink attracted a lot of attention, and boy was it fun! Luckily, I didn’t fall or make a fool of myself but quite a few of those around me did and it was very very funny! But I’m pretty sure I spent the most time on the ice compared to anyone else, it felt like I was on there for ages!

Here’s to the last week and the final rush of essay writing! I cannot wait till next week so that I can finally have a peaceful nights sleep!
