My journey here at the University of Leicester started off in clearing process and lets say it is not a decision I regret!
The clearing service was so simple, straightforward and quick! During the initial phone call where the advisor just asked what course I was interested in and what grades I had achieved, I was so so nervous. The grades I had achieved were just below the required grades that the university were asking for, I was convinced that I wouldn’t be offered a place.
After the first phone call where my details were recorded, I was told that I would hear back the sociology department within a couple of hours. However, I just stepped away from my phone when the phone rang and it was the sociology department offering me a place! To say I was over the moon is an understatement!
The process from the point of offer was just as simple as contacting the university. Everything else just got sorted out on UCAS.
The clearing process was a mix of emotions but the ease of the process mixed with the helpfulness from the university’s end really made me feel comfortable and helped me get over the nervousness.
