As I mentioned in a previous post, I’m spending the three weeks between finishing term and setting off on my travels here in college. The one thing I really wanted to avoid was wasting those three weeks, because time goes quickly here. It’s easy when you’re finally done with university work to just want to do nothing for as long as possible, and I get that feeling a lot. But I’m also acutely aware that I’m not going to be in Sydney forever and that I don’t want to look back on the year and wish I’d spent fewer days in bed watching TV and more days exploring. So, to stop that happening, I wrote a list of 12 things I wanted to do before I left for my summer travels. They varied from the small things, like going to the local national park, to whole day activities like an 8km coastal walk. I haven’t ticked off everything, and at this point I doubt I will, but I’m making good progress so I thought I’d share some photos.
